How do I verify your HSA registration?
You can verify our HSA registration by visiting the HSA therapeutic products register and searching for our product names or registration numbers. All VitalRoot Nutrition products are listed under their respective HSA-XXXX-XXXX identifiers.
What happens if a batch fails testing?
If any batch fails a single test parameter, the entire batch is quarantined and destroyed. We do not blend, rework, or release failed batches under any circumstances.
Do you test for allergens?
Yes. Every batch is screened for common allergens including gluten, soy, dairy, and shellfish-derived proteins where applicable. Our marine collagen is processed to remove allergenic proteins, and results are included in the batch COA.
Are your facilities audited by anyone besides GMP certifiers?
Yes. In addition to annual GMP re-certification audits, we engage independent third-party auditors to inspect our contract manufacturing facilities for hygiene, documentation, and protocol adherence.
Can I visit your manufacturing facility?
Due to GMP hygiene protocols and intellectual property protections, our manufacturing facilities are not open to the public. We do, however, share anonymized audit summaries and GMP certificates upon request.
How long do you keep batch records?
We retain full batch documentation for a minimum of 5 years. This includes raw material certificates, production logs, in-process checks, and final testing results — ensuring complete traceability.
